The principal functions of this office are to
- receive, maintain & disburse all county monies
- manage the investments
- maintain the records of receipts & disbursements of monies from all county departments
- maintain the general ledger
- collect & distribute to all local governmental units the delinquent property taxes
- sell dog & kennel licenses
- handle all the duties and responsibilities of the new property tax law, Public Act 123, including the summer auction of foreclosed properties
