The principal functions of this office are to

  • receive, maintain & disburse all county monies
  • manage the investments
  • maintain the records of receipts & disbursements of monies from all county departments
  • maintain the general ledger
  • collect & distribute to all local governmental units the delinquent property taxes
  • sell dog & kennel licenses
  • handle all the duties and responsibilities of the new property tax law, Public Act 123, including the summer auction of foreclosed properties
