Mackinac County is accepting applications for Circuit Court Clerk.  This is a full-time union position with benefits at 35 hours per week.  The minimum requirement for this position is a high school diploma with some knowledge in legal terminology and court proceedings. EQUALIZATION APPRAISER OR SENIOR APPRAISER

Mackinac County Equalization Department is accepting applications for Appraiser or Senior Appraiser.  This is a Union Position. Resumes will be accepted until the position is filled.

Minimum Qualifications:  Working knowledge of general property tax laws of the State of Michigan and State Tax Commission manuals and procedures.  Experience and fluency in BS&A software, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Apex sketching software. This position requires effective communication skills, ability to work in office, complete property inspections, and manage multiple tasks efficiently.  Complete job descriptions are available upon request.

Candidate must possess the MCAO or MAAO certification and a Michigan Driver’s License.  The candidate must have the experience and skills to supervise appraisal studies and appraise properties in all property classes.  The position requires a minimum of three to five years of appraisal experience.

EQUALIZATION DEPUTY DIRECTOR SENIOR APPRAISER

The County of Mackinac is accepting applications for a full time Deputy Director/Senior Appraiser. This is a Union position. Salary will commensurate with certification, skill level and experience.  A comprehensive fringe benefit package is included.
